Its always great pleasure venturing into new markets and getting exposed to new ideas, methods, functions, people etc. We have been planning to extend our rides to new segments so that we could grab more information and could have new products in our kit. It was during one of the recent drive through the Media Industry we came up with our new innovative solution – Newz Labz.

While exploring the media industry especially the print media, we realized that traditional methods of collecting the news on paper, getting typed out via DTP operators, waiting for approvals manually still prevails in the industry. It was a puzzle for us, why technology has not taken massive steps in this industry. We needed to fill the gap that prevails in the Print Media Industry and we are coming up with our new solution Newz Labz.

So whats NewZ Labz, in simple words Newzlabz is a web based Integrated Editorial Management System which streamlines editorial workflows of a newspaper. It integrates the complete process of reporters, stringers, editors, photographers, DTP operators and designers and takes it to the printing part. The routine tasks are simplified, a common work platform is created and efficiencies are improved via Newzlabz. Integrations to the page layout designing softwares are possible with Newzlabz which thus provides a holistic integrated solution.

Newzlabz allows Reporters/Journalists/Photographers/Videographers to enter the latest news and upload videos and photos online and it is updated in the central news database. The entered news is available in the central office and options are available to approve it and pass it to the corresponding team for further approval or processing. The news is subjected for the final approval and publishing directions are given to the Page Design Section. The admin module contains the facility to Add/ Edit News Category, Editions, Page Numbers etc.
